Parramatta Light Rail named industry awards finalist

The Parramatta Light Rail Stage 1 infrastructure project contended with Australia's leading construction projects as one of seven outstanding finalists at the 2023 Australian Construction Achievement Award (ACAA) gala event in Melbourne this week.

While the Parramatta Light Rail missed out on this year's ACAA title, the prestigious industry event pitted the project against other megaprojects, including the M4-M5 tunnels project (Westconnex Stage 3A) and the Parramatta Square Precinct (including 3, 4, 6, and 8 Parramatta Square and PHIVE). The winner announced was the Victorian project M80 Ring Road Upgrade Sydney Road to Edgars Road.

The event provided a unique and coveted opportunity to showcase the project's commitment to delivering sustainable and integrated transport infrastructure in Western Sydney, working closely with our infrastructure partner, Parramatta Connect.
