Construction work over Easter and school holiday period
The Parramatta Light Rail team are taking advantage of the quieter roads in the Parramatta CBD area this Easter long weekend and school holiday period, and will be undertaking some essential intersection and road works.
Starting from 7pm tonight, Thursday 1 April, there will be some road and intersection closures to watch out for in the Parramatta CBD. See more information below
Where: intersection of Phillip Street, between Freemason Arms Lane and Phillip Lane
When: closed from 7pm Thursday 1 April to 7am Monday 19 April 2021
The temporary closure is planned to avoid up to 26 consecutive weekends of night works. Find out more here.
Where: Macquarie Street, between Smith and Charles Streets
When: closed from 7pm Thursday 1 April to 7am Monday 19 April
Where: intersection of Macquarie and Charles Streets
When: closed from 7am Wednesday 7 April to 7am Monday 19 April
The temporary is planned to avoid up to 10 consecutive weekends of night works. Local access is available for residents and businesses in Barrack Lane and Argus Lane. Find out more here.
Where: intersection of Noller Parade, and George and Purchase Streets
When: closed from Friday 9 April to 6am Monday 12 April, for road and utility installation works
